Obesity

Obesity is the state of a person's bodyweight when it is 20% higher than his/her normal bodyweight. People who have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 25 to 29.9 are overweight. A body mass index above 30 is obese. Obesity is a problem and a concern among many people all around the world. Obesity should be solved at the earliest stage possible or it could be very dangerous to our health, private and social life.

Being obese is a problem both physically and mentally. Children are the main victims of this horrible effect on on our bodies. Children who are obese are sometimes not so good at sports, eat more than others and thus, often made fun of at anywhere they go, mostly by other children. They may be offended and depressed at this. They may start to eat more to decrease their depression. The more they eat the more weight they put on. The more they put on weight, the more they will be made fun of. People caught in this vicious cycle will have a hard time coming out of it unless they have a strong heart and mind.
